Telephone conversation of President Vučić and NATO Secretary General

President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, have discussed today over the phone, as the Secretary General said, the worrisome situation in northern Kosovo and Metohija.

President Vučić pointed out that Serbia had, in no way, violated either Brussels Agreement or Resolution 1244, not a single action of Serbia has jeopardized preservation of peace.

“The complete occupation of northern Kosovo and Metohija conducted by armored vehicles of Priština has lasted for seven days and everyone in the international community “has been thunderously silent”, said Serbian President. “However, everyone is, all of a sudden, worried when they spot Serbian helicopters and airplanes over the territory of central Serbia, because apparently they should not exist, or should not take off until they receive the approval from Kurti or someone from the international community”, says President Vučić.

Serbia observes all international agreements it signed and will always conduct responsibly and seriously, but Serbia is still asking when the formation of CSM will start and when Kurti’s armored units will be withdrawn from northern Kosovo and Metohija.

Finally, with gratitude to Secretary General Stoltenberg for the fair relation and wish to listen to the Serbian side, President Vučić asked which norms and international regulations Serbia has violated, today, yesterday or any time.

The two interlocutors agreed to stay in constant touch due to necessity of the preservation of peace and stability in the entire region.
