Ambassador Vladisavljević met the Head of the Permanent Mission of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in Baku

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in the Republic of Azerbaijan Dragan Vladisavljević paid a courtesy call today to the Head of the Permanent Mission of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in Baku Bakhtiyar Asgarov.

In a very cordial atmosphere, ambassador Vladisavljević reminded Mr. Asgarov of the historical ties between the peoples of Serbia and Azerbaijan and the lives that Azerbaijan soldiers laid down in the fights for liberation of Serbia during the World War II.

Vladisavljević informed his collocutor of his firm intention to focus his activities in Baku to the strengthening of the existing friendly relations and strategic partnership between Serbia and Azerbaijan.

The meeting also discussed the promotion of political, economic, cultural relations and cooperation between the two countries, situation in the region, mutual official visits and other topics of common interest.
