Army of Serbia

The right of registration of candidates for voluntary military service with weapons and candidates for participants course for reserve officers 

On the voluntary military service in the Army with weapons Serbia can apply candidates male and female, which in 2017 turning 19 to 30 years of age.

General terms:

To be a citizen of the Republic of Serbia;

it was not sentenced to a juvenile prison or unconditionally to imprisonment for a criminal offense (until the sentence has been served or been released on parole);

that no criminal proceedings for a criminal offense prosecuted ex officio;

that is medically fit for military service;

that he completed his military service with weapons and

to have a place of residence in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

Besides the general, a candidate for the listener course for reserve officers must meet thefollowing requirements:

- Finished studies

- That fulfills the requirements for recruits to be sent to special units of the Army of Serbia and

- have a positive security check.

2. Submission of the application and the required documents for registration of candidates for voluntary military service with weapons and candidates for the listeners of the course for reserve officers of the Army of Serbia

Notification of candidates submitted to the Ministry of Defence Center for Local Government, by place of residence.

The candidate who resides abroad the application can be submitted to the competent diplomatic or consular mission of the Republic of Serbia abroad.

The application form, the candidate receives in the center of the Defence Ministry for Local Government.

The candidate who applied for voluntary military service under arms, is obliged to fulfill the application form and attach:

photocopy of the diploma on completion of education (original document for inspection) and biography.

The candidate for the listener course for reserve officers attached to the application and the following evidence:

contract with the Ministry of Defense scholarship if he was a military scholarship and written consent to security clearance for placement in special units of the Army of Serbia

3. The selection of candidates for voluntary military service with weapons and candidates for listeners Course for reserve officers in the Army of Serbia

Determination of the final ranking list of candidates perform regional centers of the Ministry of Defense, on the proposal of the Ministry of Defense centers for local self-government, following the medical and other examinations and psychological testing of candidates in authorized military medical institutions.

4. Conclusion of the contract
