On 9-10 April 2014 between the aeronautical authorities of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Azerbaijan held a negotiations. The negotiations held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.

The two sides agreed the conditions for conducting regular air services between the two countries. Authorized representatives initialed the draft of the agreement on air services between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan. A protocol of negotiations was signed as a result of the meeting.

The conclusion of the above documents is established the basis for the establishment of regular direct air services between the two countries, as well as the ability to enter into commercial arrangements type division code, which opens wide opportunities for commercial air carriers from the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Representatives of the two sides confirmed that the agreement represents a major step in the improvement of economic relations in the field of civil aviation, and general relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The delegation visited the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Baku.
