On 17th February 2014 Minister of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan Lieutenant General Mr. Zakir Hasanov paid official visit to the Republic of Serbia and met with his counterpart Mr. Nebojsa Rodic. Two ministers signed the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the  Republic of Azerbaijan on cooperation in the field of defence”.
 
During the visit to Belgrade Lieutenant General Mr. Zakir Hasanov met with the President of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Tomislav Nikolic and First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić.
