On July 24th, 2013 the Chairman of the Clerical Office of Caucasus Muslims, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, has hosted the Iftar ceremony on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan at his residency. The Iftar ceremony attended by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

The head of the Baku-Azerbaijan diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, Alexander, noted that the tolerance observed in Azerbaijan was highly regarded internationally and expressed his best wishes to the people of Azerbaijan.The chairman of the Baku Religious Community of Mountain Jews, Milikh Yevdayev, and the high priest of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan, Vladimir Fekete, pointed to the constructive relationship between the state and religious communities in the country.
